2010 Thomas Cup Badminton-Japan defeats Malaysia.wmv
It was embarrassing and I can't comment no further!
Japan underdogs kicked our ass
Thomas Cup 2010, on May 12th Japan Vs Malaysia to decide Group B winners. There I was in front of the television glued to a match I didn't expect to see, Hafidz Hashim crushing defeat against Shoji Sato (10-21, 21-14, 18-21). Both men entered the court with much cool confidence and affable characters. However, as the match took off it turns to our worst nightmare. It was a bad predicament for whole Malaysian who watched and anticipated Hafidz to win with ease. Japan's last single player Shoji Sato who is physically petite compared to Hafidz turns out to be a firecracker which left us baffled. Hafidz who were seemingly cool earlier, maybe taking things too cool actually left us in much disappointment. However, the physical appearance doesn't bugged me that much because Rashid Sidek was also pettite in built but the world rankings of both men. Hafidz who won All England in 2003 and world ranking at #22 against Shoji Sato at #214 was quite an embarrassment. He lacked in motivation and it was pretty obvious or maybe he was cocky or feeling too comfortable to go against Sato. But, it didn't justified his mistake after mistakes on court, which cost him his opponent's points and upper advantages. The while he realized it, Sato already won the first game. Hafidz tried to redeem his honor by winning the second and stretched the game into the rubber set. Nevertheless, it was a stale effort on Hafidz who at first leading the game and fail to outwit his opponent on the latter. Little Sato managed to counter attack after attacks beautifully and where does this stamina is coming from! He was mentally focused and fights on with much attacks and jumping smashes. There were moments where I cringed every time Sato relaying or returning Hafidz's smashes and moments I felt that I should give up watching altogether because It would be jinxing Hafidz. Nevertheless, the fighting spirit within Hafidz was stronger still and yet too late. Sato wins the game and left us traumatic.

I'm VAIN... its a disease
1) Vin Diesel: I like him, I do. I see his type as a best friend material! Fun to hang out with, to flirt with and be comfortable enough but not enough to be a boyfriend material. He is a person with features you want to fool around but not to get serious!
2) James McAvoy: He is CUTE! He is definitely a boyfriend material! He is the one you parade around among your friends. The one you like to get cozy at night with, have trashy fight and make up in the next few minutes. However, doesn't seem to be the type you want to build a family with.
3) Giovanni Ribisi: I♥ definitely the type of guy you want to have a long term relationship with! Look at his face, its almost angelic and I won't get tired by waking up and seeing him next to me on the other side of the bed! Never! He has that best friend, boyfriend and daddy features.(LOL)Yeah enough said!
Disclaimer: Everything is fiction and base on my own personal idea of my own ideal kind of guy (based on their features). Personality wise, hey I wish I know them better to pass good judgments! Thus, to love is his own and this is mere ramblings and make believe. If I hurt any feelings, well get over it! As if its going to become a headline or someting! :P

A Blind Dating
(scene: Engagement Party)
Woman: (Looking panic) You're not supposed to be here.
Blind Man: (Looking desperate) I had to see you. It's my last chance to see you....(correcting himself) I've already seen you, I've seen your face. I've seen your eyes , I've seen your lips and your hair.
I've seen everything and you are beautiful. You remember when you tried to tell me what your family thought about love? Well, let me tell you what I think love is. Love is how you speak to me. You have a softness in your voice that (trails off in breathless whisper) And love is how you touch me and guide me, showing me the way to go (softly touches her face, appreciating every contour) And when we kiss, when we kiss... it moves me to my soul.
(End with a passionate kiss)
