I'm a fan of Japanese Manga especially the Shoujo-Romance genre and trust me this is a must read for fans alike. Love can never be this complicated and yet so cruelly seductive, you just can't put it down! The plot starts with a Love Triangle that evolves into siblings rivalry for success in show business as well as the love and affection from Kaori, a sought after lady with supernatural power. The plots thicken when a will left by their late father that whomever Kaori chose to marry will not inherit the Hakuto's Cinema Empire. The shock was a heavy burden for the lovers who have been keeping their relationship under-wrap, without themselves knowing that Youhei, the youngest brother had known it all along. Seiya, a cutthroat businessman in my opinion was too ambitious and an idealist he chose to betray Kaori's love. Pushed in a corner Youhei stepped up and took Kaori as his wife and confess his secret obsession of undying love for her. The forlorn Kaori and Youhei a struggling independent director sets their journey into show business with much less with nothing but with advantage of Kaori's left eye.

Seiya's character change after realizing that Kaori is no longer at his expense and all this while he had never stop loving her. It was totally by fate that the brothers was meant to compete, the movie written and directed by Youhei was stolen and plagiarized by his own friend. The same movie his brother is producing. It's all due to Kaori's 'gift' and hard work that they were able to finish the movie and put it on screen regardless of the obstacles that they have to face. Meanwhile, Youhei's and Kaori's relationship starts to shake with a third wheel on board the immature and childish actress Sarina. Kaori tried to love her husband but in the same time still holding a torch over Seiya. The night the filming finished Sarina confess his one-sided love, Youhei spent the night coaxing the devastated actress and regretfully lead to drunkenness night well spent in a cheap hotel. Meanwhile, Kaori who was struggling to promote the film with yet another cinema empire equal to Hakuto's level met a minor injury during a forceful confrontation with Seiya. She was admitted to a hospital and indirectly later announced pregnant.

living a life as celebrities and under public scrutiny made Youhei's a target for scandals and threaten his marriage with Kaori. After winning the bet from Seiya, Youhei's movie ranked no. 2 nationwide, he was happy but he can't help feeling that Seiya is after his wife. Once again, Kaori had to face yet another betrayal from her lover-husband who scandal made public of his infidelity with Sarina. The gossip when national and affected the movie ratings, Sarina stupid declaration of love to Youhei pushed Kaori to divorce Youhei in order to save him from Sarina's angry fans. However, the overemotional Youhei wouldn't accept the turning point of event and took matters in his own hand by trying to commit suicide. The public and Sarina's fan-craze injured Kaori mentally and physically she end up in the same hospital as Youhei. Seiya learned that the baby was his and plead Kaori to choose him. He vowed that he had never loved or will love anyone else beside her. Meanwhile, Youhei is on the verge of dying.

In the final chapters, Kaori stayed by her husband's side and nursed him to health. Meanwhile, the movie went international, it won an award and gain numerous accolade by movie critics. Sarina made her debut as a sought after actress of the year and left Youhei, due to show business pressure (BITCH!). Kaori refuse Seiya and Youhei woke up from his coma. The first thing that came out of his mouth is that he has another script on his mind (a true artist!) He let Kaori go and said his work is his life, he will strive in them from that day onward (WTF!!). After three years, Youhei became a well known director and Seiya left Hakuto to search for Kaori who had been missing ever since. In the last pages, Kaori sitting in a living room with her three year old son facing the sun, when Seiya appeared and said "I finally found you" (waaaaaaa huhuhu *LOVE in the end sighhhh)

I feel angry and disappointed with Seiya who followed his father's wishes blindly and hurt Kaori by inviting her to the hotel which he spent with another actress. He coldly suggest Kaori to choose Youhei and he can't possibly let go of the Business. Meanwhile, Youhei's regardless of his undying love confession for Kaori made me question who is he trying to convince? I agree with his friend when he question him that and left him dumbfounded. He made a huge blunder by having sex with his own main actress due to drunken mistake. He even try committing suicide when Kaori who tried to save him through divorce. I lost all respects even though he was a very driven and ambitious director with natural talent. I REALLY HATE Sarina, who didn't realize it was Kaori who spotted her with her left eye on her talents. She stole her man and made it as if it was Kaori's fault why Youhei committed suicide. She was the true villain because 1) she seduced the vulnerable Youhei 2) she made a childish declaration that ignite the publics wrath on Youhei and alienated his move 3) she had the nerve to say it was Kaori's fault when she didn't even know the roots of the problem to start with 4) In the end she left Youhei for her career instead, such a BITCH!

The Girl Who Played With Fire

"The title kinda remind me of Drew Barrymore movie 'Firestarter' but this book is nothing like the movie and its on a whole different track altogether..."

Genre: Suspense thriller, Investigative, Smut, Drama.

What I like about the second book is that the author justified Lisbeth Salander existence. It's all about her history and her character development from the last. Her sorta subdued and keep-to-herself attitude changed to a more approachable and I slightly sense some warmer feelings towards her character than before. She got herself new boobs (bigger), a new apartment and many more things.

The plot heightens when she was wrongly accused for a triple homicide at two different locations. The Detectives are pretty one sided in their investigation and shift all the blames on Gothic, punk-ish and social retard Lisbeth Salander. It got interesting when the mystery slowly (painfully) unfold and Lisbeth who was supposed to be innocent was actually closely related to the Murder cases which may caused her problem later on. The story ended in a total cliffhanger, it left Lisbeth half dead in a hospital.

"No spoiler, Lisbeth still kicked ass, new taste in sex, ignored Mikael Blomkvist (applaud), faced her nightmare and in coma..."

The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo

"I'm pretty pumped and irritated so here I go...no spoiler alert, you should read it yourself for details *evil laugh..."

Author: Stieg Larson (dead and famous)
Genre: Mystery, Drama, Psychological, Thriller, Tragedy, Romance.

First read was definitely intense and a challenge. The book starts with a 3 decades worth of mystery and the plot thickens and take a sharp twist towards the end, and the ending left me out dry and thirst for more.

First main character. I hate Michale Blomkvist. Despite of being a straight lace, honest and a credible journalist of incredible passion for justice. Definitely a guy you don't want to fall in love with but you can't deny attracted to his frivolous sex live, charm and suave attitude. Nevertheless, I can't hate him forever.

Meanwhile, I found myself attached to Lisbeth Salander, a really quiet and complicated woman. Despite her personal issues, the author gave her charm by giving her BRAIN and rebellious nature! In a glance she defies every essence for a perfect heroine and she is far from your everyday girl-next-door. Yet you just can't stop loving her.

When both characters meet in the middle of the novel. The plot took a turning point where excitement builds up and everything went fast phase. I really thought it was a family friendly type of novel but as I flip pages gory images flashes in my brain... (*shudders)

"it feels like watching 'Criminal Mind' the series and 'Swordfish' the movie. Nevertheless, the best impact was when Lisbeth Salander is in love with the wrong guy. I was really hoping that it would turns out great for her but of course we are talking about him...the 'Practical Pig'...*sigh"

Please let me eat...

I went to work at 630am and got back at 7.30pm. I was fasting today, I woke up late and manage to eat a few scoop of Oats for 'sahur'. I was really hungry at the office, in fact I was famished. On the way home, I can't take my mind off food that I want to consume. I reached home and found some good food to eat, as I was about to eat my little niece came and asked for some biscuits. I don't know what kind of biscuits she wanted. We have a lot of 'Raya' Cookies so I was terribly confused and hungry. I asked my mom and mom asked me to 'layan' her. She was really emotionally tired to bother. I was hungry. So I asked again what kind of cookies she wanted, she kept saying biscuits. Of course what does a 3 years old know. I asked my mom again and she sarcastically said the cookies in the big tin on the rack! Marrie Cookies! Sigh, how would I know, I've completely forgotten of their existence ever since Ramadhan. I resume back to eating when Dad suddenly said. Because of eating, I wouldn't do anything from a simple task asked. I was hungry. I heard a switch flicked and blew my top off. Literally blown up to an atomic mushroom! I cried and screamed and cried, sobbing and trying to say that all I wanted is to eat! all I want is to eat. I just got home from work, I'm tired and I just want to eat. I was so hungry, I knocked off a chair, went to the toilet and slammed the door. I went to the toilet, took my ablution. I came out, hungry still slammed every door I see and ignored the food on the table. I called my irresponsible elder sister to come home and fend after her children. I know its not my parents fault. They were tired and I WAS HUNGRY! After my 'Maghrib' prayer, without saying a word I ran to my cousin's house and wrote this entry.

A 4 Year Old Confession

Name: Muhammad
Age: 4 Year Old

Muhammad and Daddy went to a Sport's House (apparels and equipments). Daddy was looking for some flashy sport shirt of his favorite football team. He browse through all the collection items and lets Muhammad running amok around the store. Daddy was too fascinated of the merchandise goods and Muhammad was having too much fun causing chaos for both shop owner and other patrons alike.

It was a while before Daddy realize that Muhammad was missing. He went out of his way looking for him around the store. Suddenly Muhammad emerge among bundle of clothes and gave his Daddy a big surprise. Daddy gave Muhammad a brief and stern reminder before went off to pay for selected goods and Muhammad tow in after.

As they got home Muhammad went to his favourite aunt (ME) and as usual we talked about a lot of silly things. We talked how he terrorized three little kittens and he wants to be one of the character in "Armor Hero" when he grows up or maybe was it Robin from "Teen Titan". Because he was four, Daddy has to remind him to pee from time to time and he told him loudly that he don't feel like it.

He went closer to me and told me that he peed in a store full of sport's shirts! (hmm...) I thought he was joking, so I asked. How did you pee in there? He answered proudly "like this" while showing me a demonstration how so. I nod my head and pondered, would a four year old know how to lie? So a sequence of questions came up one by one to satisfy my curiosity. So I asked:

Aunt: Muhammad kencing sikit ke banyak?
Muhammad, was there a lot of pee?
Mohd: Sikit..eh tak tak, banyak!(oh dear!)
a bit..no no, there's a lot!
Aunt: Muhammad, ade kena baju tak?
Muhammad, did you get it on the clothes?
Mohd: Tak...kene seluar jer.(Kes tak faham nih)
Nope..just my pant. (he didn't get the question)
Aunt: Muhammad, ade orang nampak tak?
Muhammad, did anyone sees you?
Mohd: Tak, Muhammad tutup pintu.(pintu??)
No, I closed the door. (door??)
Aunt: Hmm...Muhammad, kat situ ade cermin tak?
Hmm...Muhammad, was there any mirrors there?
Mohd: Ade!(a-ahuh!)
There is!

I guess he was in desperate need to pee and Daddy was too preoccupied to notice. He actually went in one of the fitting room to pee. Its seclude, there's privacy and convenient to him. I believe an apology is in order and We are sorry to Al-Ikhsan Taman University, Johor. If you guys happen to spot a pool of pee, it might be, MIGHT be desperate relief from an innocent but cute four year old who dreams to be a Peace Defender in the future. :P
