Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer

My Story

"The novel speaks in a point of view of an autistic child. Set post 9/11, the little boy set out in his little adventure of self discovery, especially after his dad died. I believe that when you lose someone so dearly so suddenly it feels as if someone just pulled a rug under your feet. You won't accept reality and there will always be a missing piece in yourself-never stop searching and always trying to bridge the sense of lost and loneliness with that person in everything he or she was associated with. You can't communicate with the dead but to come term with them when they are gone-forever took a lot of courage. In some cases, without realising you'd grown up"
